This <br />report addresses only gravel mining at this time. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary <br />Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. The approved bond amount is <br />$550,931.00 and was last evaluated in 2008 so no bond evaluation is attached this year. The <br />permit area covers 95.07 acres ±. The facility has one mining stage and one reclamation phase. <br />Please refer to the attached 2010 Annual Report Map for the areas discussed in this text. <br />1. Portable Concrete Batch Plant. We continue to operate the portable concrete batch <br />plant as shown on the Map. Approximately 33.27 acres f is stripped on the southern end <br />of the mine (diagonal lines). The current bond covers 35.00 acres ± of disturbance. Min- <br />ing continued in the partially mined area that is colored gold, this area covers 24.60 ac. f <br />of the stripped area._Matenal mined is processed at the plant located on the Church Pit <br />that adjoins this mine on the west. <br />The two roads built by the Rocky Flats closure project remain on the site as noted last <br />year. None of the parties associated with the mine were involved with construction of <br />these roads but eventually they will be removed by mining. Parts of these roads lay out- <br />side the permit area and D.O.E. and Stoller are responsible for reclaiming them. <br />Growth medium is being stockpiled in berms on the mine perimeter for use in reclama- <br />tion.
