Pineda <br />Re: Friederichs Pit, File No. M-2010-080, Receipt of an Incomplete 110 Construction Materials <br />Reclamation Permit Application Package <br />Dear Mr. Torres: <br />On December 14, 2010, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety received your 110 Construction Materials <br />Reclamation Permit Application package for the Friederichs Pit, File No. M-2010-080. Preliminary r' view of the <br />information received determined that the following items must be received before the Division can consider your <br />application as being submitted and technical review can begin: <br />APPLICATION FORM: <br />1.) On Page 1 of the 110c application, item number 3.2 indicates the total acreage of the permit area will be 60 acres, <br />however item 3 indicates the permitted acreage will be 9.9 acres. If the permit acreage is 60 acres the applicant will <br />need to re-submit a new 112c application with the correct Exhibits for such an operation. If the Applicant only wishes <br />to permit 9.9 acres please re-submit the first page of the application indicating the actual total permit acreage. <br />2.) On page 1 of the 1 l Oc application, item 5.2 does not indicate what the intended end use of the primary and <br />incidental commodities to be mined will be. Please re-submit the first page of the application indicating what the end <br />use of the primary and incidental commodities will be (Road base, Aggregate Production... etc). <br />EXHIBIT A - Location Map (Rule 6.3.1(2)): <br />3.) The location map must be a standard 1:24000 scale U.S. Geological Survey Map. Please re-submit the required <br />map and ensure it depicts the following information: <br />A. Location of the affected land on the ground and existing and proposed roads or access routes to be used in <br />connection with the mining operation. <br />B. Names of all immediately adjacent surface owners of record shall also be shown. <br />C. The location of the proposed operation shall be shown and labeled with the mine site name. <br />EXHIBIT B - Site Description (Rule 6.3.2(b)): <br />4.) You must address Item (b) to the extent necessary to demonstrate compliance with the applicable performance <br />standard requirements of Rule 3. At a minimum, you must identify any permanent man-made structures within two <br />hundred (200) feet of the affected area and the owner of each structure.
