amec <br />Earth 8 Environmental <br />• CC&V held a Weekly Contractors' meeting on February 17, 2009. Items discussed included Safety, <br />Environmental, Schedule, QC documentation, and CQA. <br />• Amec and CC&V discussed status of the LLDPE geomembrane purchase and Certifications. Samples <br />need to be obtained from the manufacturer to send to a 3rd party testing laboratory (TRI) in Texas. <br />CC&V indicated that Ames will be purchasing the liner. <br />• Tom S. - Discussed fill placement in the VLF started February 20 in the morning. Ames placing fill <br />along the existing haul road to grade for storm water run-off away from the existing VLF storm water <br />retention located to the South. Tom indicated that he wants observation of the fill througout day. <br />• Tom S. - Follow-up with Tom about the VLF fill. Discussed preparation and placement with Ames in <br />the field and over excavation of the sediment retention areas, etc. <br />Ames Construction: <br />• Roger E. - Discussed general work items during the week after the daily safety meetings. <br />• Scott - (with Joe Hickey) - Discussed the planned fill in the VLF after Ames daily safety meeting on <br />February 20. Ames plan is to grade at 4-percent for drainage and to clear some stockpiled material. <br />Discussed with Ames that the storm water retention will need to be mucked out and frozen material <br />removed for fill. Ames indicated that fill placement in the retention was not planned for the day. <br />• Bill N. and Scott - Joe Hickey followed up with Ames (Scott and Bill N) and CC&V (Tom S.) on <br />February 20 to clarify to the field supervision on fill requirements. Procedures in accordance with <br />specifications were discussed and agreed upon. Fill progressed during the day with observation by <br />AMEC.
