Aerial photographs were taken on December 13, 2010 at approximately 1:15 p.m. <br />Fourteen photographs were taken during the flyover. Mike Boulay of the DRMS reviewed the aerial photographs. <br />Weather conditions were clear and the ground appeared to be mostly dry throughout the mine site with some snow <br />at higher elevations. Photographs were taken of the main facilities along the Elk Creek drainage, the upper fan <br />bench at Elk Creek, and the coal refuse facilities and soil stockpiles located to the west. <br />An overall view of the Elk Creek drainage and main level mine site facilities is shown in the attached aerial <br />photograph at the end of this inspection report. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 <br />- Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />- Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />- Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />- Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Access and haul roads appear to be in good condition. All site locations visible in the photographs appeared stable <br />and no significant erosion or other problems were identified with this aerial inspection. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The coal stockpile, loadout facilities, bath house, office, and warehouse /shop are all visible in the photograph. The <br />facilities and surrounding perimeter areas all appear to be maintained and no areas of concern were identified.
