Aerial photos <br /> were taken by Harry Ranney of DRMS on December 13, 2010. The mine site is an active underground mine. The <br /> mine site appears dry with patchy areas of snow. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05 <br /> ❑Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5,4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, <br /> 4.05.10; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; <br /> Ponds throughout the mine site are either dry, or ice and snow covered. Ponds visible that are holding <br /> water in a frozen pool include pond DP-1,PP1,PP2,RDA-2/3,RDA-4. All other ponds visible in the aerial <br /> photos are dry. <br /> PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES—Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br /> []Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br /> The Refuse piles are dry and snow free. It appears that refuse disposal activity is concentrated to the west <br /> side of RDA 2/3/4, and RDA 5. RDA 5 has the beginning of a winter temporary refuse storage pile on the NW <br /> portion of the pile. This refuse handling method appears to be in agreement with BME's refuse handling plan.. <br /> RDA 1 remains inactive, and vegetated. <br /> ROADS—Rule 4.03 <br /> ❑Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br /> ❑Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5)and(6)/4.03.2(5) and(6) <br /> Haul road and access roads throughout the site appear dry and in good condition.
