MAHOGANY RESEARCH PROJECT SHELL FRONTIER OIL & GAS INC. In reference to recently promulgated changes to Rule 5.6 of the Hard Rock, Metal and Designated Mining Operations regulations which revised the submittal deadline for Prospecting NOI annual reports from year-end to the NOI anniversary date, Shell Frontier Oil & Gas Inc. (SFOGI) hereby submits annual reports covering the 2010 reporting cycle for the following list of NOIs which have anniversary dates which preceded the rule change. In calendar year 2011, annual reports for these NOls will be submitted in accordance with their anniversary dates. P-2003-015 P-2004-002 P-2005-001 P-2006-035 P-2007-010 P-2009-024 P-2003-018 P-2004-003 P-2005-002 P-2006-036 P-2004-011 P-2005-017 P-2006-037 For each of these NOls, the information required by Rule 5.6 is contained in an annual report form, location map(s), site map(s), and financial warranty cost summaries enclosed with this letter. A separate package containing this information is provided for each NOI. Supporting calculations for the financial warranty summaries can be provided upon request. SFOGI's Statewide Prospecting Bonds applicable to these NOls remain in place and are more than adequate to cover these updated warranty estimates. Where appropriate, a table showing as-built hole depths is included in the annual report package for those prospecting holes having this reporting obligation in the NOI. For your convenience, a second copy of these tables are also included, but with the confidential information redacted. Please note that although NOls P-2004-002, P-2004-003 and P-2004-018 were recently consolidated into NOI P-2003-022 (Modification No. 2, October 25, 2010), annual reports for these four NOls are being submitted individually for the 2010 reporting cycle.
