RECLAMATION PLAN
Reclamation will consist of final shaping, applying 4 inches of previously stockpiled
topsoil and replanting the site with grass species adaptable to this area.
1. Topsoil depths are approximately 4 inches at the proposed site. Thin topsoil plus
additional topsoil or suitable overburden encountered will be stockpiled. since the
topsoil directly overlies the deposit, there is no anticipated handling of
overburden.
2. Reclaimed slopes will have a maximum gradient of 3H:1 V to facilitate
revegetation and reduce soil erosion.
3. Topsoil depths in this area average 4 inches. Since only 4 inches are available,
only that amount will be removed or stockpiled. In any additional topsoil is
encountered, it will be stockpiled as well.
4. The soil Conservation Service has recommended that seeding be done between
November 1, and April 30, with a disc drill for best results. The seedbed will be
prepared fo ,
e app i ?- ? a
r toGhiseling t ?
5.
