The phone message received
when calling them says that the weed control officer is presently on "an extended leave"
with no specific date for her return offered. An alternate cell phone number was provided,
but no response has been received.
Pathfinder Development will comply with your findings to eradicate the infestation
of Canadian thistle on the topsoil pile and the visual berm, and throughout the permitted
area, beginning in June 2011, at the start of the growing season.. Unfortunately your
report has been received after snowfall started accumulating and there is at this time
coverage of snow that prevents any action being taken immediately.
I am personally in residence near the gravel pit from June 1, through September 30
each year at Trout Lake. Before I arrive there, June 1, 2011,1 will personally request an
inspection appointment of the permitted gravel pit, and adjacent property surrounding the
permitted area that is owned by Pathfinder by the San Miguel County Weed Control
Office for scheduling as soon after my arrival as is possible. Pathfinder will immediately
eradicate the noxious weeds in accordance with the then current list of noxious weeds as
determined by the San Miguel County Weed Control Officer. The work will be done by a
professional vegetation control firm, yet to be determined from those known to San
Miguel County Weed Control office to be reliable and capable of performing the
eradication and ongoing periodic monitoring.
I will notify your office as soon as possible after June 1, 2011 with the specifics of
the steps being taken, suppliers of services and schedule of action that will be taken at
that time and throughout the growing season of 2011.
Please advise if this plan of action is acceptable.
Sincerely yours,
Phillip Woodard, email:77pwoodard@earthlink.net
President
