<br />9.5.4 Maximum Design Depth <br />A minimum of 2 ft. (two feet) of free board will be provided at the face of the impoundment during operations. <br />9.5.5 Monitoring Well Security <br />A lockable cover shall be installed on the Leachate Collection Sump. Additionally, all monitoring wells shall <br />have lockable caps. <br />9.5.7 Measurement of Impoundment Waste Volume <br />A table of impoundment waste volume will be available in the facility office. This table will show actual <br />impoundment volume measured on a quarterly basis, correlated from depth measurements taken with <br />graduations of 0.05ft. <br />9.5.8 Groundwater Monitoring Wells <br />Monitoring wells will be installed up-gradient and down-gradient of the impoundment. These wells shall be <br />installed at a minimum depth of 20' (twenty feet) into bedrock. The wells will be drilled at 2.375" diameter and <br />cased with nominal 2" perforated plastic pipe to allow for any recharge/seepage to be measured and/or <br />collected.
