• 2.04.10 Vegetation Information <br />(1) Map 3, Permit Area Vegetation Map located in Volume II, delineates plant <br />communities within the area to be affected by surface operations and <br />facilities. The delineation of plant communities is on the basis of visually <br />dominant perennial species. <br />(2) The greasewood reference area is shown on Maps 3 and 5 located in Volume <br />II. <br />L ' <br />(3) Map 4, Adjacent Area Vegetation Map located in Volume II includes sufficient <br />adjacent areas to allow evaluation of vegetation as important habitat for fish <br />and wildlife. <br />(4) Volume I, Tab 5 contains the Baseline Vegetation Study. This study provides <br />the detail information requested in this section. The soils report located in <br />Volume I, Exhibit 7 addresses the quality of topsoil in the area. Generally, the <br />topsoil in the permit area is strongly saline and highly sodic. <br />(5) The potential impacts to rare and endangered plant species are addressed in <br />the Wildlife Report located in Volume I, Exhibit 10.
