APPROXIMATE ACREAGE TO BE RECLAIMED IN NEXT REPORT YEAR:
3.0
No mining during the report year was accomplished on this permit site and there will be
no further mining on this site, as all easily accessible mineable product has been
processed and removed. No reclamation consisting of backfilling was performed during
the report year. No seeding or revegetation was implemented on this permit site, as the
revised reclamation plan is to completely backfill the site except for a small 7-acre water-
storage reservoir to be left in the north-central portion. Amendment AM-4 was approved
for this site in the beginning of 2010 allowing for the change in reclamation from a water-
storage reservoir to complete backfilling with inert fill, other than the 7-acre pond.
Currently, the shop building will be left as part of the final reclamation of the site. The
scale and scalehouse has been removed from the site. The office building (an old
farmhouse) will be torn down. Reclamation during the next reporting year will be
implemented as continued backfill in the southern area of the permit site.
Per the requirements of this permit, attached are groundwater-monitoring results for the 2
monitoring wells located on the permit area that we are still monitoring. We will
continue to monitor the wells on a sporadic basis.
