/v-,g a/o^?CZ
Item 8 of the response letter indicated 0-4 feet of overburden will be stripped during the mining
process. Item 18 indicates overburden will not be replaced during reclamation. However, the original
reclamation plan indicates overburden will be replaced during reclamation. Please clarify what will
happen with the stripped overburden. Will the overburden material be sold as a product?
White Sand and Gravel
The average depth of overburden to be stripped, across the 10 acres, will be 2
feet. We plan to sell, at least 3/4 if not all, of the stripped overburden. I figured
there will be an average of 1/2 foot of stripped overburden left in stockpile and
dikes. This would leave 8065 yards of material to be spread, over the 10 acres, for
reclamation.
Tim White
DEC MCI
Q 6 2010
pi~n oT ftoc*i%Qq f1,
Mninq and 5jftV
??9353
47,2o-:5q
