The October 27, 2010 letter identified four remaining
concerns with the revision application. The information provided by SCC satisfied all of our adequacy
concerns, with the exception of one item requiring additional clarification.
14a. Page 2.05.4-2 was revised, as requested by the Division, but there is one section of the text that
is still somewhat confusing. The last sentence of the third paragraph under the heading
"2.05.4(2)(e)(vi) Determining Revegetation Success", states that "Sampling and statistical
methods and success criteria for vegetation cover for Phase II bond release are consistent with
the methods and criteria described for Phase III bond release, with the exception that vegetation
cover success for Phase II release requires only a single year." Please revise the sentence to
read "...requires data for only a single year."
Should you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Susan L.
