ENERGY COMPANY
P.O. BOX 467 GOLDEN, COLORADO 80402
November 30, 2010
Mr. Robert Zuber
Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Re: Technical Revision No. 41
Change to Approved Post-Mining Land Use-Partial (4)
Keenesburg Mine Site
Permit No. C-1981-028
Dear Mr. Zuber: 1iv
(;AjEG U 2010
D r^
D1V4411 uIi
WhU and Sa*''J
Following the receipt of your correspondence and concerns with respect to the initial TR-41 submittal,
Coors Energy Company (CEC) has consulted with appropriate agencies in Weld County concerning their
requirements for oil and gas operations. Based on the response from those agency representatives, CEC
is submitting revised pages 124, 125 and 126 for your consideration. (Note: the "spill-over effect" from
revising page 124 resulted in the need to submit pages 125 and 126.) We have attempted to succinctly
address both your concern (Rule 2.05.05(1)(b)) and the response received from the County with respect
to governance of oil and gas operations. If you are in agreement that the changed pages address your
concern, then CEC asks that these pages be substituted for the revised page 124 previously submitted.
Also, to confirm the informal communication, you were correct in your calculation of the acreage that
will be within the "west pad" that is also in Area 29. The correct acreage is approximately 0.1 (as
opposed to the 0.01 indicated earlier).
With these embellishments/corrections CEC is in hopes that you will find the TR-41 submittal complete,
and be able to approve it for further processing. Again, if there are questions or concerns please contact
us at 303 927-3670.
Sincerel
Donald W. MacDonald
Manager, Energy Services
Enclosures (3 copies)
