Box 46667 <br />Denver, CO 80201-6667 <br />PERIDE' <br />RE: Partial Phase II and III Bond Release (SL-6), Roadside Portals Mine (South) <br />Permit No. C-1981-041 <br />Dear Ms. Shaeffer: <br />In response to your request, we have reviewed the Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and <br />Safety (DRMS) "Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance" dated November 4, 2010 for a <br />Phase II and III Bond Release regarding the south Roadside Portals Mine reclamation. We have <br />determined that the lands covered in the request are fee surface lands and the mining activities <br />occurred on subsurface federal coal. The reclamation appears to be properly carried out as reported <br />in the DRMS report referred to above.
