D. Reclamation of Stormwater Management Structures. The temporary sediment ponds
and diversion ditches will be backfilled using on-site soils. The volume required to
backfill these structures for the worst case scenario for one phase will total 1,812 cubic
yards. The cost to place and compact 1,812 cy of fill dirt would be $1.80/cy which
equals $3,262. The riprap outlet pads will be removed. The volume of riprap will total
10 cubic yards. The cost to remove and haul the riprap for off-site disposal will be
$10/cy which equals $100. The silt fence (or sediment control log) will be removed once
vegetation has been re-established to approximately 70% coverage. The silt fence to be
removed will total 1,360 linear feet. The cost to remove and dispose of the silt fence off-
site will be $0.50/lf which equals $680.
The total costs for reclamation of stormwater management structures is $4,042.
Based upon these estimates, it can be determined that the total direct reclamation
costs for this project will be approximately $ 41,951.
