• Success of cropland reestablishment will be demonstrated when the production mean for the hayland
frond release block in question is not less than 90 percent of the reference area mean, at the 90 percent
statistical confidence level (alpha error probability = .10, for a one-tailed confidence interval) for the last
two years of the 10-year liability period or for two subsequent consecutive years. Production sampling
will be conducted prior to any manipulation of the standing crop.
