• 4.4.3 Lands Disturbed Prior to May. 1978
Trapper's approved permit standard for revegetation success will be used for testing reclamation
success of lands disturbed by Trapper Mine prior to May 3, 1978. Such lands were disturbed
pursuant to topsoil salvage crtteria in effect at the time of disturbance. As discussed in Section 4.9 of
this application, only six inches of the better quality topsoils were salvaged under pre 5/3178 criteria.
Approximately 15 acres of land were reclaimed subsequent to PL 95-87 and HB1223, of which 7
acres was returned to cropland and 8 acres to rangeland.
