., Other integral reclamation activities include; protection and restoration of air <br /> and water quality, such as drainage control and fugitive dust control: protection <br /> and resto ration of wildlife populations and habitats; protecti on against off site <br /> impacts: protection of the general public, such as posting access points and <br /> blasting areas; evaluation of revegetation success for both vegetative expres- <br /> sions and surface stability and land use management. <br /> <br />3.1.6 Temporary Cessation of Operations <br />At this time, Trapper Mining Inc. does not anticipate any cessation of the opera- <br />tions at the Trapper Mine during the life of the proposed permit. However, if <br />one should occur, Trapper will notify the proper authorities within thirty days <br />after it is determined that a temporary shutdown will occur and that it will <br />exceed thirty days. <br />Notification will consist of a written notice stating that operations at the <br />Trapper Mine have ceased temporarily. The notice will also include a report and <br />appropriate maps to show the following: <br />- The number of affected acres in the permit area prior to shutdown. <br />- The amount and type of reclamation that has been accomplished in the permit <br />area prior to shutdown. <br />- Identification of all activities that will continue during the shutdown. <br />The horizontal and vertical extent of subsurface strata which have <br />been affected prior to cessation of operations, and <br />A brief description of the circumstances surrounding the temporary <br />cessation; and anticipated resumption of operations date, if known. <br />• <br />During the period of any temporary cessation of operations, the mine area will <br />remain posted with the appropriate signs (refer to Section 3.1.1).
