Runoff was measured in the rated section on <br />Johnson Gulch, because of higher flow rates (due to a larger drainage area) and <br />Che ability to manually thaw the apparatus. Thus, information from Johnson Gulch <br />is considered the best site-specific information on the timing of yields from the <br />mine-plan area. <br />Figure 2.7-15 shows cumulative discharges from the Johnson Gulch watershed from <br />March to December, 1975. IC should be noted that station S-4 is below the con- <br />' fluence of Jvhnson and pyeatt Gulches. The majority of runoff occurred in the <br />spring with over half the yield occurring in April.
