1.7.1 Public Notification, Permit Renewal /Revision for 2008 -2012 Term is The following notice is to inform the public of a permit renewal /revision for the Trapper Mine. Figure 1.7 gives a visual presentation of the active mining area associated with the notice. PUBLIC NOTICE r� • Trapper Mining Inc. intends to revise its surface coal mining permit (CDMG Permit No. C -81 -010, approved 12/31/02) to project future permit term activities (2008 to 2012). This action is being proposed as permit revision PR -06. Projected activities include disturbing an additional 312 acres within the approved permit area to add new mine pits and advance current pits. The present permit allows for a pond spillway and flume to be within 100 feet of a section of County Road 107. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this date of filing. Trapper Mine is located 6' /s miles south of Craig, Colorado.
