This material is extracted for economic gain and to generate a mostly inert tailings for environmentally friendly
impoundment. The abandoned mine waste rock is polluting our properties and we have a desire to clean it up.
Being able to offset processing cost with profits gained from the sale of the concentrates makes this cleanup project
economically viable as a private business venture.
6.3.3(1)(0)
This operation as currently proposed will not require the use of explosives.
6.3.3(2)(a)
The processing plant facilities have been described at length in 6.3.3(i)(e) and 6.3.3(t)(m).
The following are chemicals to be used as part of operations:
• Water, approximately 18,000 gallons -for processing medium.
o Sourced from a municipal water supply, see 6.3.3(t)(h)
o Contained in a steel reinforced concrete pond, sealed with an asphalt emulsion. A 60 mil textured
HDPE liner shall also be installed to prevent leaks and infiltration through the concrete.
o Conveyed using double-walled 1 DPE pipelines.
• Diesel motor fuel, 500 gallon skid-mounted double walled tank - for equipment fuel.
o See appendix for a specification sheet from Eaton Metals for this type of tank.
• Motor oil, upto (1) 55 gal. drum and/or (5) five gallon buckets and/or 60 quarts - for equipment lubrication.
• Automatic Transmission Fluid, upto (1) 55 gal. drum and/or (5) five gallon buckets and/or 60 quarts -for
equipment lubrication.
• Hydraulic Oil, upto (1) 55 gal. drum and/or (5) five gallon buckets - for equipment lubrication.
• Bearing Grease, upto (10) cases of 12 - 14 oz. cartridge tubes - for equipment lubrication.
• Open Gear Grease, upto (10) cases of 12 - 14 oz. cartridge tubes - for equipment lubrication.
• Electric Motor Bearing Grease, upto (10) cases of 12 - 14 oz. cartridge tubes - for equipment lubrication.
• Block Grease, upto (10) 50 pound cases -for equipment lubrication.
• Cup Grease, upto (2) 120 pound drums - for equipment lubrication.
• Hydrated Lime, upto (100) 50 pound bags - for processing pH control and sulfide mineral depressant.
o Stored outside on a wooden pallet, tarped to keep out moisture.
o Added to process stream at hall mill inlet by a metered feeder at a rate of 2-5 lbs/ton of "ore". The
feeder is capable of storing 50 pounds at a time.
• Soda Ash, upto (100) 50 pound bags - for processing pH control and sulfide mineral depressant/separator.
o May be used in place of Lime
o Stored outside on a wooden pallet, tarped to keep out moisture.
o Added to process stream at ball mill inlet by a metered feeder at a rate of 2-5 lbs/ton of "ore". The
feeder is capable of storing 50 pounds at a time.
• Copper Sulfate, upto (10) 50 pound bags -for flotation processing.
o Selective sulfide mineral activator.
o Stored in Flotation Trailer.
o Fed into process stream at the flotation cells via a metered feeder, undiluted solution concentration
at 0.2 - 5.0 lbs/ton of "ore".
• Aerofloat 208 Promoter, upto (1) 55 gal. drum, liquid - for flotation chemistry.
o Promotes collection of metallics into a froth.
o Stored in Flotation Trailer.
o Fed into process stream at the flotation cells via a metered feeder, undiluted solution concentration
at 0.01 - 0.1 lbs/ton of "ore".
• Aerofloat 242 Promoter, upto (1) 55 gal. drum, liquid - for flotation chemistry,
o Promotes collection of metallics and sulfide minerals into a froth.
o Stored in Flotation Trailer.
o Fed into process stream at the flotation cells via a metered feeder, undiluted solution concentration
at 0.02 - 0.15 lbs/ton of "ore".
• Aero 317 Xanthate Promoter, upto (1) 55 gal. drum, solid pellets -for flotation chemistry.
o Promotes collection of metallics and sulfide minerals into a froth.
o Stored in Flotation Trailer.
Page I I of 37
