<br />DRMS Request 6. One water tank appears to have been added to Table 19 but two are <br />discussed in the cover letter. Please ensure that Table 19 clearly identifies each water tank <br />by size or volume. <br />NECC Response: Of the three water tanks approved in the facilities plan, two were removed. <br />The remaining tank is a 65,000 gallon raw water tank. Two new tanks will be added, one 400,000 <br />gallon raw water tank and one 25,000 gallon potable water tank. The permit text has been <br />revised for page 2.05.5a. Table 19 on page 2.05.6 has been modified to reflect the existing tank <br />and the proposed tanks. <br />DRMS Request 7. The "central pumping station building" and the "rock dust pressure vessel" <br />described in the cover letter is not listed in Table 19. Please add this structure to Table 19. <br />NECC Response: The central pumping station is in the design phase at the current time. The <br />structure is withdrawn from consideration under TR54. The rock dust delivery system includes a <br />silo for storage and a compressor with a pressure vessel. The compressor and pressure vessel <br />are housed inside a small metal building. Table 19 page 2.05.6 has been revised. <br />DRMS Request 8. Please expand the permit narrative discussion of the "electrical power <br />distribution upgrade". Include substation changes or additions, power pole locations or <br />line locations with the number of poles added per line. If the power company owns the poles <br />and the poles will remain after reclamation, please include a letter from the power company <br />stating that the poles belong to them and will remain when the site is reclaimed. <br />NECC Response: The permit text has been revised on pages 2.05.5c and 2.05.5d to provide <br />narrative of the electrical power distribution upgrade. The electrical distribution on the mine <br />property will be owned by the mining company. <br />DRMS Request 9. Please include cross-sections through the cut and fill area. If this cut <br />material is to be used for the Highway 12 alterations, describe how the area proposed for <br />disturbance will be returned to approximate original contour. Also include maps and cross <br />sections for this area in the reclamation plan portion of the permit showing pre-mine and <br />post-mine contours. <br />NECC Response: Cross sections through the cut and fill area are included with this on Map 11 <br />Sheet 1 - East Portal Roads, Slope Track and Cut Areas. No material from the cut sites will be <br />used for the Highway 12 alterations. The fill material will be relocated from the rope slope pad <br />and belt slope portal area back to the cut areas and graded to approximate original contours. <br />Sections are included in Figure 14. Page 2.05.46a <br />DRMS Request: Map 11 is noted as "in transition" as updated survey control is added and new <br />structures are added. Please refer to Rule 2.10.1, in particular to the phrase "legibly detail". <br />Currently Map 11 includes information at a scale and or font that cannot be discerned. Please <br />refine this important map to provide legible detail of all information being presented. <br />NECC Response: Map 11 Sheets 1 through 3 have been modified to improved legibility. <br />Additional map sheets have been added to better illustrate the detail. <br />3
