<br />amecl& <br />VLF EARTHWORKS FIELD MONITORING SUMMARY (WEEKLY REPORT) <br />Project Title: CC&V/ Phase 5 <br />Owner: Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Co. <br />Location: Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine <br />Work Element: Phase 5 CQA/ VLF <br />Date: October 30, 2010 <br />Reporting Period: 10/24/10 through 10130110 <br />Days S M T WI T F S <br />Work Shifts D D D D D D <br /> N N N N N N <br />D = Day Shift N = Night Shift <br />Project No.: 84201125EO <br />Contractor: Ames Construction Co., Inc. <br />Shift: Day/Night <br />Ambient Temperature Range (F): Low: 14°F to 42°F (+/-) High: 28°F to 64°F (+/-) <br />AMEC CQA: Personnel On-site through the Reporting Period (See Attachment A). <br />AMES: Work activities were suspended on 10/25/2010 at approximately 10:00am due to heavy snowfall. <br />Suspended work activities continued in the afternoon of 10/28/2010, after snow and ice melted from the <br />geomembrane/DCF work areas. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES and PROGRESS: <br />I) EARTHWORKS <br />A) Subgrade Preparation <br />1) VLF <br />No subgrade was approved during the shift (see Figure 1 for previous subgrade acceptance). <br />B) Slope Contouring <br />1) VLF <br />Slope contouring was performed between stations A60+00 (+/-) and 62+00 (+/-), <br />approximately 0 to 100 feet left of centerline using various CAT dozers. <br />C) Cut to Fill <br />1) VLF <br />No work performed during the week. <br />After an inspection with DRMS, the fill placed for access around the low volume solution <br />collection riser pump house (near stations C4+25 (+/-)), was discussed with John Lupo. It was <br />confirmed that the placed fill does not affect the stability of the south toe berm. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 10.30. D
