It is located 2 miles west <br />and 1 mile north of Nucla four corners. Winter range <br />land is south of Nucla along both sides of <br />Colorado 97 and south of the Nucla airport. <br />RESOURCE MANAGEMENT UNIT 1 <br />Irrigated Cropland <br />1;tinc• <br />Conservation Crop System <br />Corn and smell grain will be grown in rotatio <br />and the stubble will be plowed in for mulch <br />and to protect from erosion. <br />Crop Residue Management <br />la6AC. <br />Plant residue will be left on the field to <br />improve soil condition and control erosion. <br />Fertilizer will be used in increasing pro- <br />duction. <br />Irrigation Water Management <br />46Ac <br />Irrigation water will be applied to meet the <br />need of the plants and to prevent erosion. <br />The length of run as determined by soil, slot <br />and crop Deeds will W.,fr9m 200 ft, to 500 ft <br />Approximately three gallons per minute will <br />be applied for a period of about IL hours. <br />The crops will require irrigation about every <br />13 to 15 days.
