Gubka <br />RE: Meeting with representatives of Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, <br />Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS), Walsh Enviromental, Greg <br />Lewick & Associates, and Western Fuels-Colorado. <br />On February 15, 2008, a meeting was held with the list of people in Appendix A at the <br />State of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety, Grand Junction field office. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss <br />and formulate a plan to address issues dealing with the New Horizon Mine and <br />especially questions dealing with lands and reclamation plans for areas west of County <br />Road 2700. The issues discussed are listed below: <br />Discussion Topics: <br />1. Prime Farmland Soils within the mine permit boundary of <br />Western Fuels. Especially soils that lay on the Morgan property. <br />2. Pre & Post Mine Topsoil Salvage & Replacement North-West of <br />27 & BB Road. <br />3. Pre Mine Vegetation and Land Use of lands to be disturbed west <br />of County Road 2700. Each land owner parcel was discussed <br />independently of each other.
