amec'O <br />III) Material Processing <br />A) Drain Cover Fill Process Area <br />Drain Cover Fill (DCF) was processed during the week. <br />Location This Week Cumulative Comments <br /> (tons) (tons) <br />DCF Process 34,744 245,741 <br />Total 34,744 245,741 <br />VLF Geosynthetics <br />B) Geomembrane Installation <br />1) VLF <br />Geomembrane installation within the Phase 5 VLF continued performing deployment, <br />seaming, and repair/QC activities. Geomembrane installation was performed in the area shown <br />on Figure 3. Approximately 198,703 square feet of primary 80mi1 and 100mil LLDPE was <br />deployed using a John Deere 200 excavator and a John Deere 544 front-end loader with <br />spreader-bar attachments. Subgrade was inspected and approved by AMEC and Lone Star <br />representatives prior to geomembrane deployment (see Figure 3). Approximately 9,751 linear <br />feet of seam was fusion welded using to two fusion welding machines. Twenty-one destructive <br />test samples were marked during fusion seaming. All destructive tests performed were within <br />project specifications. Non-destructive testing was performed for fusion welded seams. Repairs <br />were performed using the extrusion welding method for all marked defects. Vacuum testing <br />was performed for all extrusion welded seams and repairs. <br />C) Anchor Trench <br />1) VLF <br />Anchor trench excavation was performed between stations A54+00 (+/-) and A60+00 (+/-) <br />using a CAT 312 excavator and laborers. An AMEC representative observed and inspected the <br />anchor trench excavation. The trench was found to be constructed in accordance with design <br />drawings and project specifications. <br />Anchor trench backfill was performed between stations A48+00 (+/-) and A53+00 (+/-), <br />between stations E0+00 (+/-) and E4+00 (+/-), between stations E14+00 (+/-) and E16+00 <br />(+/-), and between stations J0+00 (+/-) and J3+00 (+/-) using a John Deere 35D excavator, a <br />jumping jack compactor, and laborers. An AMEC representative observed and inspected the <br />anchor trench backfill. The trench was found to be backfilled in accordance with design <br />drawings and project specifications. <br />D) Geomembrane Acceptance <br />1) VLF <br />No geomembrane was accepted during the week (see Figure 4 for previous geomembrane <br />acceptance). <br />E) Geomembrane Delivery <br />1) VLF <br />No geomembrane was delivered to site during the week. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 10.23.10.13
