Permit #: M-2006-046 Inspector's Initials: DMC 0 Inspection Date: 10/26/201 OBSERVATIONS This inspection was conducted as part of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) normal monitoring program. Sean Mello, representing the operator, was present during the inspection. Photographs are included at the end of this report to document the conditions observed during the inspection. The Grand River Park Project is located approximately 1.25 miles southwest of Silt, and accessed from Colorado River Road. The site is a 112c sand and gravel operation, consisting of approximately 163 permitted acres, of which approximately 110 acres are planned to be mined. The site is to be mined in phases, generally progressing from east to west. Mining was occurring in the Phase 1(b) area, located in the northeast section of the permit area, during the time of this inspection. Mining was progressing in a southeasterly direction in the 1(b) area, with subsequent reclamation following the mining. Much of the north and east bank in this area had been reclaimed prior to this inspection. An adequate mine identification sign was noted at the mine site entrance, with clearly visible boundary markers delineating the permit area. No fuel or toxic material containers were noted on site to be lacking adequate secondary containment. No noxious weeds were observed on site. No evidence of erosion or off site damage was observed during this inspection. No problems or violations were noted during the inspection.
