Martin
Executive Director
Loretta E. Pineda
Director
RECHIVIED
Pa'4?9 32010
The Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety has received final as-built reports and final inspection correction
documentation from Lewicki and Associates and Colorado Stone. The reports and correction of final minor issues
noted during the compliance inspection of September 16, 2010 close the enforcement matters of MV-2009-023
and MV-2009-024 respectively. All major work was completed by August 31, 2010 per the MLRB Orders and the
permit is now in full compliance.
It is important to note that regular maintenance and monitoring of the stormwater structures must be done as
proposed to ensure capacity is maintained. It is the operator's utmost responsibility to ensure that all best
management practices are upheld during blasting, construction, and future operations to prevent off-site damage
to neighboring property both at the mine site and the lower storage area.
If you need additional information please contact me at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Grand
Junction Field Office, 101 S. 3rd St., Suite 301, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, or by telephone no. 970.241.1117.
Sincerely,
G.
