We have refilled the wash
with material from the bottom of the slope and covered the spot with 3 to 5 inches of available
top soil.
Natural Resources Conservation Services gave us a list and seeding rate of recommended
grasses with guidelines to reshape the eroded area. Enclosed is the list of seed obtained from
Pawnee Buttes Seed Inc. The seed blend was drilled at 9 pounds per acre along with 10 pounds
hard red winter wheat. Seeding date was October 25, 2010. 3000 pounds of clean wheat straw
per acre will be crimped into the surface starting November 3, 2010. If we can be of further
assistance please let us know.
Thank you and sincerely
Howard McGinnis
Truck and Mining Foreman
