Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Co. 80203
RE: Approval of Permit Revision #6
To Whom It May Concern:
I am objecting to the approval of Permit Revision#6. I have bought hay from the Morgans for the
past 35 years. The landowners property should be put back as good as it was before it was
mined. They had all of their irrigation in place and their place was one of the best and most
productive in this area. According to what I have read, the productivity of the land is one of the
things that must be protected. They raised corn, wheat, oats, and hay. If all of those things
cannot be grown again during reclamation, then it is not as good as it was.
Rotation is a very important part of their production as well as fertilizer and it seems to be that
PR-06 is trying to short cut those items. Western Fuels has done damage to these people and
they should not be allowed to get by with that. They were suppose to be protected from all that is
happening now by the Division and this has not and is not being done.
I would also like the hearing to be held here, thank you.
Sincerely, L
Danny Aldrich ?70 ' G1 7,-?°2 0
