Vacuum testing was performed for all extrusion welded seams <br />and repairs. <br />B) Anchor Trench <br />1) VLF <br />Anchor trench excavation was performed between stations K4+00 (+/-) and A64+20 (+/-) <br />using a CAT 312 excavator and laborers. An AMEC representative observed and inspected the <br />anchor trench excavation. The trench was found to be constructed in accordance with design <br />drawings and project specifications. <br />Anchor trench backfill was performed between stations B 14+70 (+/-) and K64+23 (+/-) and <br />between stations K4+00 (+/-) and E4+00 (+/-) using a John Deere 35D excavator and laborers. <br />An AMEC representative observed and inspected the anchor trench backfill. The trench was <br />found to be backfilled in accordance with design drawings and project specifications. <br />C) Geomembrane Acceptance <br />1) VLF <br />Primary 80mil geomembrane (P-114 thru P-120) shown on Figure 4a and primary 100mil <br />geomembrane (P-526 thru P-535, P578, and P-579) shown on Figure 4b were inspected by <br />AMEC and Lonestar representatives and found to be installed within project specifications and <br />acceptable for continued construction activities. <br />D) Geomembrane Delivery <br />1) VLF <br />No geomembrane was delivered to site during the week. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />AMEC observed structural fill placement within the Phase 5 VLF fill area. <br />AMEC inspected and approved subgrade prior to SLF placement. <br />AMEC observed SLF placement. <br />AMEC inspected and approved subgrade prior to geomembrane deployment. <br />AMEC observed, logged data, and assisted in the installation of geomembrane within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC inspected and accepted geomembrane within the Phase 5 VLF. <br />AMEC observed and inspected anchor trench construction/backfill. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 10.09.10.13
