Box 165 <br />Canon City, CO 81215 <br />719-275-8200 <br />Jared Ebert <br />August 16, 2010 <br />October 29, 2010 <br />In response to a recent monitoring and enforcement inspection of the Lamar Pit by the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety, the Division requested submittal of a Pond <br />Backfilling Plan as a Technical Revision to the mining and reclamation permit. This <br />document has been prepared in response to that request and the operator is proceeding <br />with the Pond Backfilling Plan efforts accordingly. <br />The Lamar Pit status is summarized as follows: <br />All un-hardened concrete brought back to the Lamar Pit that is not poured into our feed <br />bunk, mafia block or other forms, will be cowpied (poured into small piles we can handle <br />with the loader) and allowed to cure for 60 days before being placed in the pond. <br />Operator Representative: Herb Pearson
