Dear Montrose County Commissioners:
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to Approve the release of coal
exploration bond submitted by Western Fuels-Colorado, LLC for Notice of Intent No. X-2007-142-11.
The bond was submitted to cover reclamation costs of exploration drill holes in Montrose County. An
inspection showed that all disturbance associated with the exploration project has been adequately
reclaimed.
The applicant has completed all reclamation work and filed the required reports. The amount of bond to
be released is $9,016.00.
The legal description for the project is as follows:
Section 26, 27, 34, 35, Township 47 North, Range 16 West Section 11, 12, 13, 14, 24, Township 46
North, Range 16 West
Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit
written comments to the Division at the address below within 30 days of publication of this proposed
decision in the San Miguel Basin Forum.
