PUBLIC NOTICE <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve the release of the coal <br />exploration bond submitted by Mountain Coal Company, LLC for Notice of Intent No. X-2006-212-07. <br />Activities conducted under this NOI are now part of the Deer Creek ventilation shaft, permitted and <br />bonded under mining permit #C-1980-007. Therefore, the reclamation required is adequately covered <br />under the mining permit bond, thus the exploration bond is no longer necessary. The Division proposes <br />to release $8,415.00. The exploration bond was originally submitted to cover reclamation costs of <br />exploration drill holes in Gunnison County. <br />The legal description for the project is: Section 32, Township 13 South, Range 90 West of the Sixth <br />Principle Meridian. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit <br />written comments, or a written request for an adjudicatory hearing before the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board, to the Division at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Such <br />comments should be submitted within 30 days of the second publication of this notice.
