Pineda <br />Loretta <br />, D <br />ire to <br />Re: Coal Exploration File No. X-2006-212-07 ,S>„-? <br />Dear Mr. Nyikos: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve the release of the coal <br />exploration bond submitted by Mountain Coal Company, LLC for Notice of Intent No. X-2006-212-07. <br />Activities conducted under this NOI are now part of the Deer Creek ventilation shaft, permitted and <br />bonded under mining permit #C-1980-007. Therefore, the reclamation required is adequately covered <br />under the mining permit bond, thus the exploration bond is no longer necessary. The Division proposes <br />to release $8,415.00. The exploration bond was originally submitted to cover reclamation costs of <br />exploration drill holes in Gunnison County. <br />The legal description for the project is as follows: Section 32, Township 13 South, Range 90 West of the <br />Sixth Principle Meridian. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit <br />written comments to the Division at the address below within 30 days of publication of this proposed <br />decision in the Delta County Independent. <br />Once the decision is final, we will return your bond.
