Broken Arrow Investments, LLC Derr Pit, File No. M-2008-017, TR-01 Adequacy Review Comment Responses
10/21/10
-4-
6.4.5 Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan
6. The approved Reclamation Plan states excess overburden may be
placed on the entire length of the reclaimed slope. Please describe how
this will be accomplished using wet mining methods.
Response:
The approved reclamation plan will remain the same with excess overburden
being placed on the entire length of the reclaimed slope but this process will
not occur during wet mining. Wet mining will only occur out to the interim
mining limit which is inside the final reclaimed slope. The final reclaimed slope
will be a 3H:1 V slope, and the slope will be established during dry mining
after the installation of the slurry wall.
Thank you for your consideration of the responses we are providing and the revised
exhibits for the technical revision request. Please feel free to contact me with any
questions or comments.
Sincerely,

J.C.
