south of PM-1B and ends just north of PM-3. Cross-section C-C' runs along north side
of the PM-1 drainage area. This cross-section begins at the east edge of the disturbance
and ends just north of stock tank T-25. It runs from east-northeast to west-southwest.
Numerous, random elevation points were taken along each of these cross-section lines, as
shown on Inspection Maps I and 2, and they were compared with the approved post-
mining topography at those points from Exhibit 20-2.
- Cross-section A-A' runs along the north side of permanent, post-mining drainage
channel PM-3 and is approximately 3,700 feet in length. The data shows that the
majority of the backfilled area along cross-section A-A' varies from the approved post-
mining topography from +1.6 feet to -5.4 feet (with one point showing a -9.4 foot
difference). Based on the Division's data it appears as though the Seneca II-W Mine has
backfilled and regraded the cross-section A-A' area to the approved post-mining
topography. Please see the Division's cross-section A-A' at the end of this inspection
report. The data for cross-section A-A' is shown in the following chart.
Point ID GPS Height Northing Easting Z Corr. Correct Z EA20-2 Z Z Diff. There was some minor rilling in some areas but it
did not appear to be a problem at this time.
- Cross-section B-B' runs along permanent, post-mining drainage channel PM-2A and
bisects channels PM-1B, PM-IA and PM-3. It is approximately 4,700 feet in length.
The data shows that the majority of the backfilled area along cross-section B-B' varies
from the approved post-mining topography from +3.9 feet to -3.7 feet (with one point
showing a -7.0 foot difference). Based on the Division's data it appears as though the
Seneca II-W Mine has backfilled and regraded the cross-section B-B' area to the
approved post-mining topography Please see the Division's cross-section B-B' at the
end of this inspection report.
