We have <br />written hundreds of letters supporting our objections. We got an informal h 'ng held in Nucla. <br />Our objections a still not heard. That was the first meeting this country since the mine <br />opened up. Thin s had been done wrong since the beginning. All the farm and people who <br />have contracts the mine were told that they are not allowed to object to ything that they <br />do. This is not o y in writing, but also verbal. Sometimes, very verbal. <br />The Rules and R gulations guarantee a person the right to object and also to c omment. It also <br />guarantees public involvement and public participation without objecting. is was never done <br />nor was any invo vement ever allowed by the State or Western Fuels unless ti e people filed an <br />objection. The ople here are farmers and most of the ones that have contr is are old. They <br />are also scared do not realize that they have any rights. Even while I was mployed by <br />Western Fuels, w were told that the State was the bad guys and we were ask to leave or stay <br />home the days yo were there and we were not permitted to talk to you about ything that was <br />going on. <br />For 15 years, we ever got to speak with you until things got way out of hand d I filed a <br />complaint with D Mathews and Mike Boulay. Our rights have been violateil and our property <br />has suffered millions of dollars worth of damages done by Western Fuels and he State. <br />The States job w to make sure that the mine did their jobs and this was not <br />Environment whi h is our farm, our surroundings, and our land and the lando <br />to be protected an it was not. People without the expertise and knowledge rE <br />Farmlands and thfarms in this country were destroyed because they did not c <br />are real people , th real damages, and real lives that were ruined, because of <br />Rules and Regulations. People who had Prime Farmland should have been pr <br />Western Fuels did not furnish the State with all of the accurate information re; <br />properties and the Mine, Western Fuels omitted very important information at <br />that they knew we the facts. The State relied solely on information furnishe, <br />instead of doing their own research and reading everything that was presented <br />The State, accord' g to PR-06, not only allowed Western Fuels to do these dai <br />them do it.
