Bonding
An independent third-party contractor has estimated the nominal cost for procurement and
installation of the sump/French drain system is approximately $42,000. Pumps, piping, electrical
power and other infrastructure requirements are expected to cost about $10,000. The cost of the
proposed temporary pumping system to draw down the pond formed within the excavated former
retention pond area is expected to be the range of $5,000. Operating costs for the proposed
expansion of groundwater capture capabilities is not expected to add to the amount currently
bonded for treatment of alluvial groundwater at the site. The proposed bonding structure for
TR-15 is thus $57,000.
REFERENCES
DRMS. May 19, 2010.
