The Adams Pit which is located near the south boundary of Bent County is only utilized
on a limited "as needed" basis for purposes of servicing county roads in that area.
There has been mining from this pit over the past twelve months; for the maintenance of
roads in that part of the county. See attached map and highlighted area.
