Pineda <br />Director <br />Trapper Mining, Inc. has applied for a bond release at the Trapper Mine. The bond release application <br />was found complete by this Division on October 14, 2010. SL-12 is a Phase II bond release application <br />for five parcels in the A, F, and Z Pits. The total area of the parcels is 173.5 acres and includes A-C- <br />05, F-AB-05, F-AB-06, Z-AB-05, and Z-AB-06. TMI only requests a reduction in liability, not in the <br />bond amount. The surface ownership is State and private, and the coal mined was Federal, state and <br />private. <br />We will contact you to advise you of the Division's required bond release inspection of the site as soon <br />as it has been scheduled.
