The Permit is very complex, and more time is needed to do a proper
historical study.
I am very concerned about the amount of dust the plant will bring to our
community and the resultant damage to our air, land, water, and health. Too,
several old-timers tell about an anthrax outbreak during the 1940's in the area
where the plant would be located. There was another outbreak in 1976,
and I know of at least one human who contracted anthrax after working
in the area. I'm very concerned about the effects of anthrax spores to humans
and animals alike from continuous disturbance of the topsoil.
Your consideration in allowing more time to research the above concerns would be
greatly appreciated.
Than ou,
r
in Johansson
