Resource Description: This segment of the railroad is an active double track that is jointly operated by Union <br />Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe. The Eastern track is historically operated by Colorado and Southern <br />railroad. The track runs about 1 '/< mile through the northwest portion of the project area. A concrete filled <br />' double arch bridge crosses the St.Charles river. The original single track line runs for'/. mile along the proposed access <br />road. <br />7.
