(Powertech) would like to request an extension for our response to the P-2008-043
NOI MD-03 Fourth Review completeness issues outlined by DRMS in their letter to Powertech dated
March 18, 2010. Powertech is awaiting approval from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for
its Class V Underground Injection Control Permit to re-inject produced pump test water. The EPA has
indicated that the Class V UIC Permit will likely be issued within the first two weeks of October.
Powertech understands that as winter approaches, freeze prevention techniques may be required during
the execution of water storage and re-injection methods outlined in the NOI.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to contact Richard Blubaugh
at (303)790-7528 or myself at (970)556-5988.
Sincerely Yours,

Michael D.
