EXHIBIT E Reclamation Plan, Carrizo Stone, North <br />1. There is approximately 4" of overburden in the quarry area. Approximately 4" of <br />overburden will be placed on the slopes for stabilization. <br />2. a. The overburden will be replaced,then the topsoil will be spread on top of the <br />overburden and the area will be ripped. <br />2. b. The premined condition of the proposed area is rangeland. Subsequent to <br />mining, all areas will be returned to rangeland. <br />2. c. The reclamation plan will be implemented to meet all applicable requirements <br />of the reclamation measures. Grading will be carried out with a loader and box blade to <br />create a final topography appropriate to rangeland. All overburden shall be placed in <br />quarried area by equipment to insure adequate compaction. Grading will be completed in <br />such a manner as to control erosion on the reclaimed lands. <br />2. d. See attached N.R.C.S. seed recommendation. <br />2, e. (i) Reclamation will begin when mining is complete. <br />(ii) Reclamation will begin once mining phase B is complete or at any time <br />of Phase A or B in which we determine to stop mining. <br />(iii) See section 2e(ii) <br />2. f. (i) Slopes will be 3:1 or flatter in all mined areas. <br />(ii) Reseeding will be per National Resource Conservation Service <br />recommendations and seed mix. September 1 to April 30 is the planting <br />dates. See attached form in this section. <br />(iii) There will be no fertilizer used. <br />(iv) There will be no trees or shrubs <br />(v) Approximately 6" of topsoil will be replaced on all disturbed areas.
