Tests are made of the fill only as believed necessary to calibrate our
observers judgment. Test data are not the sole basis for opinions on whether the fill meets specifications.
® Fill Tested Meets Specifications.
? Fill Tested Does Not Meet Specifications as Indicated by Test Number (s)
and Should be Removed or Reworked.
® Contractor Advised.
? Full Time Observation. ® Part Time Observation.
Progress Report: Contractor placed, watered and compacted approximately 4 feet of fill
just east of existing road. Moisture readings from the nuclear gauge were inaccurate due
to hydrocarbons in the fill. Moisture samples were collected at test locations and dried
overnight in a low temperature oven to determine the moisture content.
Dan Blumberg William N.
