As I
mentioned in my letter, my water engineer as well as the Division of Water Resources informed
me that the well permitwould satisfy any evaporation or depletion.
An augmentation plan is not appropriate, and it does not appear that I would need to file a water
right as the well permit application would take care of minimal evaporation.
In speaking with the ranch manager, Mr. Walker, he was trying to wrap up the matter. The bond
needs to be released. In order to do that, we need to get the Division of Reclamation to sign off
as having an acceptable water plan.
Please get back to me and let me know whether or not you would accept the well permit to
satisfy these requirements.
Yours Truly,
Jan.
