Box 459 <br />Florence (:O 81226 <br />Re: Southfield Mine, C1981-014, Discharge Monitoring Reports-Second Quarter 2010 <br />Dear Mr. Patterson: <br />COLORADO <br />D I V I S ION OF <br />RECLAMATION <br />MINING <br />SAFETY <br />On August 1, 2010 the Division received Second Quarter 2010 Discharge Monitoring Report for the Southfield Mine <br />CDPH&E permits COG-8500006 and COG-850045. Two ponds are permitted under each CDPH&E permit. No <br />discharge was recorded from any of the four ponds during second quarter 2010. The operator provided a copy of the <br />report to the Division in a timely manner. The Division has not identified any concern with these reports, and finds <br />the reports in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(2)(a). <br />Sincerely, <br />J et H.
