• Lloyd Property -WFC proposes to flood irrigate 25.62 acres and return 46.02 <br />acres to dryland pasture. <br />• WFC Property in northwest permit area (originally Johnson Property) -3.96 <br />acres are designated Prime Farmland that have been disturbed and will be <br />returned to flood irrigated cropland. The remaining acreage on the WFC <br />property is proposed as dryland pasture. <br />• WFC Property in southeast part of permit area. Originally Irrigated Pasture, the <br />parcel will be reclaimed to Dryland Pasture because no water is available. The <br />land will be graded such that irrigation could occur in the future. <br />• Morgan Property - All 107.96 disturbed acres of the Morgan property have been <br />designated Prime Farmland. WFC is proposing to return the entire Morgan parcel <br />to cropland - irrigated alfalfa hay. <br />WFC consulted with each landowner during the review process for PR-6 as required <br />by Rule 2.05.5(1)(b). Documentation of the consultation is provided in Attachments <br />2.05.4(2)(e)-6, 8, 9 and 10 of permit Section 2.05.4(2)(e). Additional consultations <br />and attempts to resolve disputes with the Morgan's is addressed in WFC's letter dated <br />August 13, 2010 and in Addendum #2 to WFC's letter dated September 20, 2010. <br />The Division is proposing to approve the post-mining land uses of irrigated <br />pastureland, cropland-irrigated alfalfa hay, dryland pasture, irrigated pasture swales, <br />commercial areas and ponds in the NH Mine 2 permit block. (4.16.1 and 4.16.3) <br />XIII. Protection of Fish, Wildlife and Related Environmental Values <br />A. Fish and wildlife habitat is a planned post-mining land use. The applicant has <br />selected appropriate plant species and distributions to benefit fish and wildlife <br />(4.18(5)(i)). <br />XIV. Protection of Underground Minim <br />This section does not apply to the New Horizon Mine. <br />XV. Subsidence Control <br />No subsidence is planned at the New Horizon Mine. <br />XVI. Concurrent Surface and Underground Mining <br />There are no concurrent surface and underground mining operations at the New Horizon <br />Mine. <br />XVII.
